The Speakers
Keyla Waslawski – Senior Vice President, the Cultural Intelligence Center
Keyla Waslawski is our Vice President, Sales and Marketing and Secretary. She oversees all of our sales and marketing processes and projects. Keyla also leads our business development, communications, client relations, and technology initiatives. Keyla graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and earned her M.B.A., Financial Accounting at Wayne State University in Detroit. She enjoys applying her analytical skills and eye for numbers to support and lead the Sales & Marketing team at the Cultural Intelligence Center. Keyla’s hobbies include gardening and home improvement projects, but what she enjoys most is spending time with her husband and two children. Connect with Keyla on LinkedIn.
Maggie Mahoney – Global Education and Higher Education Professional at the University of Houston
Maggie Mahoney serves as the Director for Global Engagement at the University of Houston, where she supports university-wide internationalization efforts including student mobility, campus global initiatives, and university partnerships. Her experience has focused in higher education and includes education abroad, holistic student advising, program development, risk management, equity and access in education, and strategic planning. Her collaborative research and program development focuses on global learning outcomes and how to develop and enhance intercultural intelligence through various experiences. She has previous experience in residence life, intercultural education, and career services. Maggie holds a Doctor of Education in Ethical Leadership from the University of St. Thomas with a focus on Global Competence Development, and she served as a Doctoral Intern for the Cultural Intelligence Center. Kendra Ansotigue – University Technical Recruiter
Kendra lives for the blending of intercultural communication throughout various spaces and the opportunities of growth that arise when being pushed out of your comfort zone. With a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and Master’s degree in Global Leadership, she thrives in environments where she can connect and assist students in pursuing their goals and aspirations for their future.
